We roast the beans
you actually taste.

Small-batch single-origin espresso, seasonal craft cocktails, and a room built for the kind of work — and conversation — that doesn't end at five.

Our story

Two disciplines.
One room.

Oak & Iron started from a simple observation: the best coffee needs the same patience as the best cocktail — and neither benefits from being rushed. We opened our doors in 2019 with a 5 kg roaster, a back bar stocked with local spirits, and a commitment to doing both things well.

Our coffee is sourced from farms that treat their land responsibly, roasted in small batches right here in Brooklyn, and pulled by baristas who can tell you the elevation of the lot it came from. Our cocktail program changes with the seasons and the suppliers who show up at our door.

The space itself was designed for the way people actually use it: a morning table for focused work, an evening seat for conversation that runs long, and a counter that works equally well for a quick pour-over or a slow whiskey neat.
